Additional Training Sessions to be held in Woodstock and Windham in June

With more and more electric customers looking to invest in energy efficiency around their homes, residential housing developers have taken notice and are educating themselves on the latest energy saving technologies and techniques. These techniques go well beyond projects in existing homes, as developers are now building new homes from the ground up with energy efficiency in mind.

This has been a difficult season for the Ayers Island Ospreys.

The regular female returned from her long migration on April 5. Perhaps as many as three males (and perhaps a 2nd female) have been fighting over the nest for more than a month. Local Osprey experts are not certain whether the regular male returned and was temporarily ousted by another male or whether he failed to return and all the males involved are new young males.

Pooja Shah, senior engineer in PSNH’s Electrical System Control Center, assisted by Diane Charney, employee relations consultant, recently facilitated a workshop at the annual Expanding Your Horizons conference hosted by Exeter Area General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The workshops, held at Stratham Cooperative Middle School, included hands-on activities to help middle school-age girls make the connection between scientific theory and how it’s applied in various career options.

Manchester, NH (May 2, 2013) – Public Service of New Hampshire customers are expected to see a reduction in rates beginning July 1st. As part of preliminary rate forecasts filed this week with State regulators, the company anticipates an overall decrease in rates for all customers.

PSNH recently concluded an informational outreach to elected officials in eight New Hampshire communities, providing interactive updates on several energy-related issues, ranging from energy delivery choice to storm restoration and the future of The Northern Pass project, a plan to transmit hydro-electric energy from Québec to serve New Hampshire and New England.

Manchester, NH (April 30, 2013) – Small and medium business customers of PSNH now have a dedicated customer service resource to meet their needs. The New Hampshire Business Center opened this week, ready to respond to inquiries and provide customized service to those customers that comprise the majority of the company’s commercial accounts.
