Behind the scenes of the everyday business of providing reliable electricity, PSNH and its employees are active supporters and participants of initiatives that are important to the communities of New Hampshire and our way of life. Two of those focus areas are education support—in particular, tomorrow’s leaders in science, engineering, and math—and stewarding our natural resources.

Blad Taveras in Chevy Volt

PSNH engineers Pooja Shah and Blad Taveras recently facilitated a workshop at the annual Expanding Your Horizons conference, hosted by Exeter Area General Federation of Women’s Clubs. This is the third time that Shah has volunteered on a Saturday to lead a workshop, held at the Stratham Cooperative Middle School, for middle and high school girls. This year’s program attracted 200 girls from nearby communities.
