Somersworth School is “Head of the Class” in Energy Efficiency

SOMERSWORTH, N.H., September 8, 2011 – The installation of new energy efficient systems is expected to reduce Idlehurst Elementary School’s annual energy use by more than 277,861 kilowatt hours per year and result in an estimated $29,000 in annual savings. Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) provided support for the energy efficiency improvements through its nhsaves@work New Equipment and Construction Program with an incentive check for $75,000.

New Osprey Project Takes Flight

High School Lowers Energy Bill and Carbon Footprint

July 1 Adjustment to PSNH's Rates

MANCHESTER, N.H., July 8, 2011 – The New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission (PUC) recently approved a series of rate adjustments for Public Service of New Hampshire that took effect on July 1. The adjustments have resulted in a slight net reduction in PSNH's electric rates. 

The charges for delivering electricity to customers have decreased, helping to offset an energy service charge increase associated with rising fuel costs.

Mooney Clark Landing To Be Closed July 5 to July 8

BRISTOL, N.H., June 29, 2011 – Construction at PSNH’s Ayers Island Hydro Station will close the Mooney Clark Boat Landing from 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 5 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday July 8. The construction is part of the Ayers Island Dam Remediation Project and will require the use of a floating crane barge platform that will be assembled and launched from the Mooney Clark Landing.
