PSNH Launches New Business Center

Manchester, NH (April 30, 2013) – Small and medium business customers of PSNH now have a dedicated customer service resource to meet their needs. The New Hampshire Business Center opened this week, ready to respond to inquiries and provide customized service to those customers that comprise the majority of the company’s commercial accounts.

“The business segment is very important, not only for our company, but for the economic success of the entire state,” said Jennifer Turner, New Hampshire Business Center manager. “We are focused on first-contact resolution on topics ranging from billing inquiries to energy efficiency programs. I’m excited about our new Business Center here in Manchester, and truly look forward to a positive experience for all of the customers we serve.”

The New Hampshire Business Center is staffed by a team of specially-trained customer service representatives and business account executives. In addition to PSNH commercial customers, the center will also respond to business customers of  Western Massachusetts Electric Company (WMECo). PSNH and WMECo are subsidiaries of Northeast Utilities (NU), and the Business Center will complement the Strategic and National Accounts team serving the companies’ largest business customers.

The New Hampshire Business Center also complements a center recently opened in Connecticut to service customers of Connecticut Light & Power and Yankee Gas, and an existing center in Westwood, Massachusetts that serves NSTAR business customers, also NU subsidiaries. “All of our business centers have one goal in mind: To serve our valued business customers with excellence and dedication,” said Penni Conner, senior vice president and chief customer officer for Northeast Utilities. “We’re excited about the team that’s in place in Manchester, ready to make a difference for our PSNH and WMECo business customers.”

The New Hampshire Business Center hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Separate phone lines will serve customers of the two operating companies: For PSNH business customers, 1-866-554-6025; for WMECo business customers, 1-888-783-6610.
